Nagasaki was the quiet revelation of our Kyushu leg—the atomic bomb museum and Peace Park ask for a slow morning, and the Mt. Inasa overlook at night explains why locals call it a ten-million-dollar view. The food list is small-city Japan at its weirdest and best: champon country, but our saves run from couch-side pizza to a Mexican cantina that had no business being this good.
