We spent an unhurried day at the Dome and museum, then explored 18 Hiroshima restaurants, bars, and cafes—from Momiji-Tei to whisky bar Yoh and the Peace Memorial Park.
Hiroshima in March was the heaviest and most hopeful day of our Japan trip—the Atomic Bomb Dome and museum demand unhurried time. The city around the memorial is warm and alive: our list runs from Momiji-Tei to whisky bar benches (Yoh, Alegre) deeper than cities twice Hiroshima's size, with Miyajima's floating torii an easy ferry away.
