Kanazawa — Where We Ate & Drank

Kanazawa was our favorite discovery of a March trip through Japan — Kenroku-en garden in near-solitude, the samurai and ninja museums played completely straight, and a food scene (Ebisu Sushi, a burger joint in the teahouse district) that fed us like a city three times its size. Go before the crowds finish figuring it out.

We spent our days wandering between 22 restaurants, a couple of tucked-away bars like Music Bar Minshia, and the Ninja Weapon Museum. Every spot below is somewhere we actually ate, drank, or explored—nothing secondhand.
