Hanoi in October — dry, golden, motorbike-loud — fed us from plastic stools and rooftop bars in the same hour. Pizza 4P's is somehow essential here too, MẸT did the vegetarian Vietnamese feast we still reference, and the Capella is an opera-house fever dream of a hotel. Hoa Lo Prison is the hard, necessary visit.
We spent days chasing bánh mì, speakeasy cocktails at SWI:P, and sunset views from Moonlight Sky Bar. Everything below is a place we actually went — 10 restaurants, 10 bars, one unforgettable hotel.
