50 Country Recap

Max and I have just wrapped up 50 countries together, and we're amazed at how quickly the trip is flying by (pun intended). We are a little over one year into our travels, and so far this year we’ve already taken 37 flights and logged 53,000 miles — over two trips around the Earth. Our 50th country ended up being an unlikely, unsuspected, and unplanned travel destination: Ukraine. We are now on a three-week road trip through the Baltics and the Balkans. We miss all our friends and family back home and hope you’ll take the opportunity to come meet us somewhere along the way. Or at the very least, share any travel tips you have for our upcoming countries and cities.

Most people want to know what our favorites are. We’ve jotted down a quick list of our favorite places, hotels, foods, and excursions — up until now, and in no particular order. The list keeps evolving the more ground we cover, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t also make it clear that no country quite compares to the United States of America.
