Strasbourg — Where We Ate & Drank

Strasbourg travel guide

We ate our way through 25 restaurants in Strasbourg, from Le Chapitre's Alsatian classics to Bún Tastic's bowls. Real visits, no fluff—plus the cathedral and Christmas markets.

We came to Strasbourg for the Christmas markets—the Capitale de Noël thing is not marketing, the whole city smells like vin chaud—and left with a food list longer than expected. Le Chapitre's Alsatian comfort, a surprisingly great bún place, and the cathedral looming over all of it became our anchors.

December is the point, but the Petite France canals hold up any month. We tracked 25 restaurants, one bar, and the sights worth pausing for between meals.
