We ate at 9 restaurants in Oia — from Pitogyros' honest gyros to Ambrosia's caldera views. Includes Andronis cliffside, Ammoudi Bay tavernas, and shoulder-season tips.
Oia in June was the caldera doing its nightly show — sunset applause and all — with Pitogyros' gyros as the honest counterweight to hotel-terrace prices. Ammoudi Bay's fried-fish tavernas at the bottom of the steps earn the climb back. Andronis put us cliffside. Shoulder months (April–May, October) keep the lanes walkable.
