We ate our way through 5 restaurants in Candolim, from The Black Sheep Bistro's farm-to-table brilliance to Si Nonna's sourdough pies and beachside grills at Mikey's Place.
Goa in February was Candolim beach shacks, Fort Aguada's ramparts at golden hour, and The Black Sheep Bistro's farm-to-table case for Goan fine dining. Si Nonna's sourdough pies covered the off-nights, and we found ourselves coming back to Mikey's Place more than we'd planned.
We visited 5 restaurants, 1 bar, and spent our days between the fort and Taj Holiday Village's quiet stretch of sand. November through April is the season; monsoon Goa is a different, emptier, greener planet.
